Electronic data interchange

CONTEXT

The establishment of an internal information system covering all activities enables Sénalia to exchange computerized data with its customers.
They make it possible to gain speed in the transmission of information, to avoid duplication and errors linked to data entry or to poor understanding, to improve the traceability of flows and finally to save time throughout the chain, internally and with delivery people.

GOAL

Set up data exchanges with partners (deliverers, shippers and agro-industrialists)

PROJECT ORGANIZATION

The process of setting up a data flow from Sénalia's information system is quick and easy:
01
D0
Meeting with the partner (industrialist, delivery person) to set the needs (type of data, frequency)
02
D+2
Extraction of a data file for client-side integration testing
03
D + 3/5 after integration test
Organization of the flow for automation and generalization of the solution
04
Assessment 2 weeks after generalization

The key points

Timeframe for setting up an electronic data exchange: 5 to 8 days
Each customer who exchanges data for appointments and stock movements deletes 2 entries per truck. For a delivery person making 200,000 tonnes in a campaign, that's 13,000 fewer seizures!
