A brand new site at Grand-Couronne !

The new ship loaders ships arrived at the Grand-Couronne site on 17 December, in the presence of political and economic figures of the region. With these new gantries, Sénalia is acquiring the latest technologies in ship loading.

Taking advantage of the deepening of the channel, Sénalia will be able to increase the loaded volume in the Panamax from the Grand-Couronne site.

The whole structure will allow the porticoes to translate on the new 170-meter-long wharf. The deepening of the soil at 12 meters will give the vessels with deep draft, the possibility to stay afloat even at low tide.

Thanks to these new installations, the dust emitted during ship loading will be significantly reduced.

The commissioning of the Grand-Couronne terminal is scheduled for mid-January 2019.
